A Japanese food manufacturing is looking for a QC technician in Somerset, NJ.
Title: QC technician
Location: Somerset, NJ
Salary: 19/hr
Hours: Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM-8:00 PM (Including 1 hour unpaid break)
OT Required

Job Title:
QC technician (Staff level)
Responsibility:
-Testing of incoming raw materials, work-in process and finished products.
-Following strict regulatory and internal guidelines.
-Documenting and reviewing documentation.
-Performing verification and validation of production processes and equipment.
-Collaborating with other employees to address and solve the quality issues promptly.
-Maintaining safe and clean workplace.
-Managing inventory of QC supplies.
-Assisting with meetings, internal audit, walkthrough, and recordkeeping as necessary.
-Performing other functions as trained and requested by QC manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Teamwork and collaboration-Diligent, Active learner, and good initiative-High school diploma with min. a year of food manufacturing related working exp. -Effective reading, writing and communication skills.-Fundamental math skills (multiplication, division, fraction, ratios, unit conversions, etc.)-Fundamental computer skills (e-mail, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.)-English, Spanish (Preferred but not required)-Ability to lift-up to 40lbs.-Ability to work in various work conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet).
