**Position Overview:**
As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen by assisting in food preparation and ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work alongside our chefs to prepare high-quality meals and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and chop ingredients for various dishes, including vegetables, proteins, and sauces.
- Follow recipes and instructions from the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for food.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
