How You Can Make a Difference: As a
Cook , you will play a crucial role in delivering the
high-quality food that Chick-fil-A is known for while ensuring efficiency, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities: - Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare fresh food items, including chicken, fries, salads, and breakfast items
- Quality Control: Ensure all food meets Chick-fil-A standards before serving.
- Kitchen Efficiency: Work quickly and efficiently to keep up with high-volume service.
- Sanitation & Safety: Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Inventory & Stocking: Keep ingredients and kitchen supplies stocked and organized.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
What We're Looking For: - Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- Reliable and punctual team player
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
Qualifications & Requirements: - Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment
- Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language
- Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
- Proficiency required in reading and writing and mathematics
- Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records check, Paradies Background Check, and applicable Department of Transposition requirements.
- ServSafe may be required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on ladder, and walking long distances.
- Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in environment with varying temperatures.
